Bandar Seri Begawan - Four officers from the Islamic Studies Department led by Ustaz Haji Rosli bin Haji Mohd Salleh, the Acting Director of Corporate Services, have left for Kuala Lumpur to attend the 2012 Malaysia-Indonesia Teacher's Educational Research Seminar which will be held on October 2 and October 3 at the Teacher's Education Institute, Ilmu Khas Campus, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
The theme of the seminar is 'Quality Practices to Elevate Education Excellence' among others with the aim to serve as a platform for scholarly activities to spread the field of research within teaching and learning as well as to increase research empowerment in education through research activities.
Also attending the seminar are Ustazah Hajah Surbiah binti Haji Tengah, the Acting Assistant Director of Education Institute; Ustazah Hajah Mariana binti haji Jamil, the Head of Research Planning and Development; and Ustazah Hajah Dayang Salmah binti Ahmad, the Head of Research and Statistics Unit Education Department.
More than 87 working papers will, be presented by scholars, education research experts, and a keynote speech entitled 'Quality Practices to Elevate Education Excellence' delivered by Prof Dato (Dr) Zakarian Kasa, the Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Idris University of Education, Tanjung Malim, Perak.
