  • PDF

Bandar Seri Begawan - One of St John's School key academic projects for the year 2013 is the 'Whole School Reading Programme', which was launched in the second week of the academic year.

According to a press release, the programme is conducted every Saturday at St John's School hall. The objective of this programme is to motivate students to read more and to inculcate reading habit in students. During the programme, students read books or articles of their choice in the hall under the supervision of all teachers who will provide explanations to students' questions.

Primary children will compile new words learnt on their vocabulary list, while secondary students will do a review of articles or books they read. These works will then be compiled in the students' reading portfolios.
