Bandar Seri Begawan - In Conjunction with the 39th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, a thanksgiving prayer was recited yesterday at the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Headquarters Surau in Gadong.

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, who is also the Deputy Inspector General of the Royal Brunei Police Force, was born on February 17, 1974.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police on May 5, 2005.

Present as guest of honour at yesterday's event was Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Hj Hasrin bin Dato Paduka Hj Sabtu, Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force.

Also present were Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force, Dato Seri Pahlawan Awg Bahrin bin Md Noor, directors, deputy directors, commanding officers, officers and personnel of RBPF.

The event started with a 'Sunnat Hajat' prayer, followed by the recitation of Rattib Al-Atas and a thanksgiving prayer.
