Bandar Seri Begawan - A thanksgiving Ceremony in conjunction with the 92nd Police Day Celebration for the Year 2013 was held at the Musolla of the RBPF Headquarters in Gadong yesterday.

Attending the ceremony as the Guest of Honor was the Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force, Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Hj Hasrin bin Dato Paduka Hj Sabtu.

Also at the ceremony were the Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force, DCP Dato Seri Pahlawan Awg Bahrin bin Mohd Noor, Directors, Deputy Directors, Commanding Officers, Heads of Unit and Formation, Senior Officers and police officers as well as others.

Former police commissioners, as well as retired officers and personnel (POLSARA) were also invited to the ceremony.

The event began with the Maghrib prayers and Sunnat Hajat prayers, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil, as well as Thanksgiving prayers in conjunction of the Police Day.

The main celebration of the 92nd Police Day for the Year 2013 is the Guard of Honour Marching Event, which will take place in January, 2013, at the Police Training Centre Parade. The Police Day Celebration is held on January 1, every year, and the motto for the 2013 is "Culture of Professionalism and Integrity Team".
