RBPF Gives Briefing To Enhance Times Square Security

Bandar Seri Begawan - In an effor to enhance the knowledge and security in Times Square Shopping Centre, the Security Agency Licensing Section of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) conducted a briefing for the staff under the Property Department of Times Square Property Management recently, at the Conference Room.

According to a press release, the content of the briefing included on how to handle a situation such as the occurrence of a bomb threat, how to conduct body searches, managing instances when self defence can be used and more. Present to conduct the briefing was CPL 4080 Jasiswandy bin Jasni from the Security Agency Licensing Section of RBPF.

Seventeen staff from the Property Department attended the briefing, which also consisted of practical aspects of some of the theory learnt.

Real life scenarios were also used as examples, where the staff from the Property Department had to act out and react accordingly.

Property Manager Amal Majidah said that the briefing was conducted so that the management would be more equipped with knowledge and should any occurrences are to occur in the premises, they would be familiar of to how to carry out the actions required prior to the police arriving at the scene.
