Kuala Belait - The Public Works Department discovered a power failure had occurred at the Badas Raw Water Pump last Thursday night which resulted in the disruption of water supply to several areas in Kuala Belait and Seria.

The department along with the Department of Electrical Services quickly fixed the problem and repairs were completed yesterday afternoon.

If the members of the public encounter yellowish water supply, they can inform the department through the 140 hotline.

This yellowish water is caused by sediments in the affected tank and pipes and accidentally mixed with the new water supply. The department has flushed out to clean the affected pipes.

To request a water tank or lodge a complaint, member of the public can contact the Customer Hotline Ministry of Development through the 140 hotline.

The department apologised for any inconvenience caused.
