Bandar Seri Begawan - A press conference on the 11th annual charity golf tournament organised by Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam was held yesterday to announce that the tournament will take place between May 3 and May 5, at the RBA Golf Club in Berakas.

During the press conference, Pusat Ehsan Golf Tournament advisor, Dato Paduka Mohd Alimin announced the new logo design for the tournament, which has been named 'Perpetual Care' and represents the continuing concern towards Pusat Ehsan's strategic master plan for individuals with special needs.

The objective of the charity golf tournament is to raise funds for the centre from the government, private and corporate sectors through donations or active participation in the tournament.

The tournament is organised in collaboration with RBA Gold Club and CityNeon, and is sponsored by GHK Motors and Vincent Associates, Hiew H Y Construction Sdn Bhd; and the Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata as the exclusive media partners.

Prizes for the tournament include $5,000 for Hole-in-Ones and is sponsored by an anonymous donor, while smaller cash prizes of $500 will also be presented to the Bull's Eye winner subject to the terms and conditions. Participants will also have the opportunity to test their putting skills in the Putt-Stop Challenge on the Practice Green.

The tournament is opened to men and women and will be based on a System 36 Stroke Play.

To participate, a $100 registration fee is required.
