Bandar Seri Begawan - A Total of 145 students of Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddin (SUAS) Primary School, Muara of the 2012 academic session received awards and certificates of appreciation, as well as best results prizes in the Primary School Assessment (PSR) Examination on Students Convocation Day at the school's Dewan Sri Muara yesterday.

The guest of honour at the event was Pg Hj Mohamed bin Pg Hj Osman @ Hj Othman, the Village Head of Kg Masjid Lama, Pekan Muara, Sabun and Pelumpong.

The occasion commenced with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa Kesyukuran that was read by Ustaz Zulfadli bin Hj Metussin, followed by a speech from the Headmistress, Hjh Aminah binti Damit.

The school obtained a 73.13-per-cent pass rate in the PSR examinations this year, with two of its students having obtained excellent results (5 'A's).

Year Six students Muhammad Nur Aziman bin Alimin and Siti Atiqah binti Mohamad Salleh both received PSR 2012 Excellent Student Awards. In addition, both the students received vouchers contributed by the guest of honour:

The event included a stage performance, a drama sketch and a Tausyeh presentation by the students.
