Bandar Seri Begawan - TelBru apologised over the down time that occurred yesterday.
In a press release, TelBrru said that a power trip occurred at the TelBru main site at 7.40am which corrupted the routing table. Broadband services including BruNet leased lines (except for Fibre to the Home) were affected.
These services were restored progressively beginning with e-Speed services and other critical leased lines soon afterwards. All services were back to normal at 10.30am. TelBru has informed their subscribers that maintenance works have been scheduled at 2am todayt (October,19) which will last for three hours.
This is to replace a faulty equipment. Users may experience intermittence with their Internet connectivity during that time.
TelBru apologised for the inconvenience. The public has been urged to call 111 for any inquiries.
