Bandar Seri Begawan - Members of the public and business organisations who are using prepaid meters at their homes and premises can now purchase the 'Power Kad' at any DST Incomm branch after it was officially launched by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at the opening ceremony of Brunei Energy Expo 2011 at Bridex yesterday.

The recently-introduced top-up card can be purchased at $30 at DST Incomm Gadong branch, The Mall branch, Sony Ericcson Concept Shop, Serusop branch, Tutong branch, Seria branch and Kuala Belait branch.

It can also be purchased online by logging onto www.incomm.com.bn, the DST Incomm online shopping website, using Visa and Mastercard credit cards.

To use the Power Kad, users will receive an SMS with the 20-digit token and they can directly enter the numbers on their prepaid meters at their convenience.

Masdiawati Hj Kamis, Officer, Product and Marketing, in an interview with the Bulletin said, "The Power Kad is also available here at our booth at Bridex (until Friday), and our staff are available to guide members of the public on the usage and enquiries on its procedures, and help them register online if they want to purchase it using Visa or Mastercard credit card in the future.

"With Power Kad, the public won't have to worry about queuing up at Department of Electrical Services counters, as it can be purchased at our branches that operate from 8.30am to 10pm daily".

As an exclusive distributor, DST Incomm will provide more services for the convenience of prepaid meter users, including purchasing top-up cards via SMS, various denominations, mini shops and other resellers in the country, she said.
