Bandar Seri Begawan - The Royal Brunei Police Force is currently investigating a video that has gone viral on YouTube that shows one or two youths threatening a convenience shop owner in Tutong District.

The video clip named 'Sikap anak muda brunei yg suka tunjuk gagah' or the attitude of Brunei youths who like to show off, runs for seven minutes and 23 seconds.

The video shows an angry youth allegedly shouting at a foreigner to come out for a fight. He also allegedly threatens the child of the foreigner.

Since its debut a few days ago, it has 23,000 hits since the last count yesterday evening.

When contacted yesterday, the police said they have identified the retail shop where the incident occurred and conducted an initial investigation Monday and are waiting for an official complaint to be lodged for further investigation.

The police are also currently trying to identify the youth(s) involved. Under Section 503 of the Penal Code Chapter 22, anyone found guilty of threatening others with any criminal intimidation is punishable with imprisonment of not more than three years or fine or both.
