Ops Tegas Carried Out In Brunei-Muara, Belait Districts

Kuala Belait - The traffic police conducted another three operations in the Brunei-Muara and Belait Districts.

In the latest Ops Tegas carried out yesterday near the flyover in Gadong, 23 fines were issued for violations such as expired road tax (11), car modification (2), applying tinted glass CI), modified licence plate (6) and failure to display road tax (3).

Forty-five traffic police personnel conducted the operation, led by Md Saiful Rizam bin Hj Junaidi and assisted by Azlan bin Sidik and Shariman Hardi bin Hj Alisa Meanwhile, at the Tutong-Muara highway, 31 speeding cases were recorded. That operation involved a team of 15 personnel, led by Sidik bin Serudin and assisted by Kamaluddin bin Othman.

At Jln Tengah Anduki, Kg Sg Bera, on Tuesday, 10 fines were issued for expired road tax (4), fake road tax (1), car modification (2) and other violations (3). The operation was led by Ismail bin Ali and assisted by Sallehedden bin Salleh.

The traffic police have advised motorists to adhere to road rules and regulations and to be considerate and cautious, as well as to avoid speeding.
