Stalls cleared along Jln Kumbang Pasang area.

Bandar Seri Begawan - After failing to comply with the warning of operating illegal stalls along Jln Kumbang Pasang, seven stalls were given the order to pack up after the Law Enforcement Unit of the BSB Municipal Board department issued its final notice yesterday in a joint operation with the National Registration and Immigration Department.

The joint operation, which was called 'Ops Panyap 5', involved around 20 enforcement personnel from the Law Enforcement Unit of the BSB Municipal Department with the National Registration and Immigration Department.

A total of three compounds were issued by the Municipal Department, and four foreign nationals were detained by the immigration enforcement personnel for further investigation after failing to produce valid documents on the spot.

The Law Enforcement Unit of BSB Municipal Department has reminded the public that it's an offence to operate businesses without a proper licence, and it will also regularly conduct operations to make sure that businesses under the jurisdiction of the BSB Municipal Department comply with the regulations under the Miscellaneous License Act.
