Bandar Seri Begawan - In commemorating the Maulud Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam celebration this year, the Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Mosque Affairs Department with the cooperation of the Administration Department, Islamic Eminence Development Section and the Islamic Dakwah Centre yesterday organised the opening of the Ihya Maulidur Rasul Event in mosques throughout the nation for the Hijrah year 1434 corresponding to the year 2013.

Present at the event was the Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Pg Hj Abd Rahman, who also led the congregation with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the Dikir.

Also present at the ceremony were the permanent secretaries at the Ministry, Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yusof and Ustaz Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, as well as the Deputy Permanent Secretary, directors, senior officers as well as staff from the ministry
