OKBIS Primary School Organizes Futsal Competition

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Co-Curriculum Unit of Orang Kaya Besar Imas Subok Primary School (OKBIS), Brunei II (B) recently organised its first futsal competition for residents of Kg Subok and Kg Belimbing as well as members of the school's Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The event was held at the JKR Sports Complex.

The chairperson of the committee, Cikgu Masni Galawat said that the purpose of the competition was to create harmony and strengthen cooperation among the school community and the village residents.

The chairperson also expressed hope that such competitions would be organised again in the future.

The guest of honour at the event was Cikgu Mohammad. Azmi bin Hj Ridzuan, the Acting Senior Supervisor of Brunei-Muara District II (A & B), Primary Education Section at the Department of Schools.

Also present were the Principal and Assistant Principal of Orang Kaya Besar Imas Subok Primary School, the Penghulu of Mukim Kota Batu and the Village Head of Kg Subok, members of the PTA and principals from Zone Brunei II (B) primary schools, as well as committee members of the Kg Belimbing and Kg Subok Village Consultative Councils.

A total of 15 teams took part in the competition.

The guest of honour was on hand to present the prizes to the winners.
