Bandar Seri Begawan - For this New Year's Eve, i-Lotus Restaurant is offering their customers a unique way to celebrate a memorable countdown to the year 2013, with a crystal Wishing Tree as the central theme for the celebration.

"Every table will have a wishing tree so that people will have an opportunity to make their 2013 wish and hang it on the tree as part of the countdown celebration. We wanted to make it more fun and memorable for our diners," said Sofian Amin, Head Manager of i-Lotus Restaurant.

Sofian further explained that for this coming New Year celebration, i-Lotus Restaurant has come up with various special individual set menus that their chefs have created: i-Lotus divine set for B$48 per person and the i-Lotus deluxe set for $58 per person. Both sets of menus include the Three Variety Seafood Platter, Braised Whole Abalone with Japanese Mushroom, Braised Shark's Fin Soup with Dry Scallop, Boiled Shark's Fin Soup and many other attractive dishes.

He said that there will also be a "Chocolate Fountain Theme" dessert buffet for both set menus offering an array of scrumptious delicacies of different fusions of Chinese, Thai and Western.

To enliven the atmosphere, i-Lotus Restaurant also invites a group of students from Expression Music from five years old to 12 years old for live piano, violin and singing performances to entertain the diners throughout the countdown celebration.

According to Sofian, several draws will be conducted during the celebration for the diners to win several exciting prizes and vouchers. After the countdown, the grand draw will be held where their customers will stand a chance to win an iPad mini. To make things fun, the hanging wishes are the ones that will be drawn and wishes will be read out to call out the winners.

During the countdown celebration, there will also be balloon drops to liven up the joyous occasion. There will also be photo sessions for the customers by using an instant camera that produces wallet-sized photos. Each table is entitled for one wallet-sized instant photo as memories for their 2013 countdown with i-Lotus.
