Bandar Seri Begawan - The Eiffel Tower of France, the Leaning Tower of Pisa of Italy, the Petronas Twin Towers of Malaysia, London's Big Ben clock tower as well as the Empire Hotel & Country Club's building were all among the world's most famous landmarks featured in NBT's annual year end season's greeting display themed "Joy Around the World".

The always much anticipated decorations were officially declared open by NBT Managing Director, Ninan Chacko yesterday evening.

The mega structure, made up of a cacophony of lights, are set to thrill the Brunei community with its lively decorations and amazing displays.

In line with NBT's corporate green philosophy and their compliance to the ISO14001 Environment Management System Standards certification, the lights will be switched-off at midnight daily and at 1am on the eve of public holidays, to conserve energy usage.

In additional to the season's song aired, there will also be replicas of snow being rained down to the crowds who are taking pictures of the beautiful lighted decorations.

To liven up the atmosphere, there will be a few people dressed as Santa Clause to distribute candies to children.
