Thought of the Day:
"For many of us, there's a gap between the compass and the clock-between what's deeply important to us and the way we spend our time."

Bandar Seri Begawan - A malaysian national was detained for attempting to smuggle three sets of pay-tv Astro receivers through the Sungai Tujoh Border Control Post on Friday night.

An official at the Customs and Excise Department said the man was driving a Malaysian registered car with a female passenger and a child as he entered the Sultanate through the checkpoint.

A mandatory search of his vehicle by officials uncovered the Astro receivers and associated accessories in a duffle bag that had been placed in the car's boot, and another hidden under one of the car's seats, despite initially declaring to officials that he was not transporting any item that required declaration.

The man was charged under the Custom Order 2006, Section 140.
