Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), through the Mosque Affairs Department yesterday held the closing of Dikir Maulud in mosques throughout the country, where the Acting Minister of Religious Affairs attended the event at the Jame' 'Mr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampong Kiarong.

Present at the ceremony was the Acting Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar. Also present were the permanent secretary deputy permanent secretary, directors, senior officers and staff from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as members of the public.

The event also marks the last day prior to the celebration to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which will be held in all four districts today.

The guest of honour, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar led the congregation by reciting the Surah Al-Fatihah to initiate the event as well as throughout the Dikir ceremony.
