Temburong - The nightly Dikir Maulud ceremony conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) and the departments under it continued last night. Yesterday's ceremony was held at the Muhammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town, Temburong.

The guest of honour was Dato Paduka Dr Awang Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The event began with a Maghrib prayer followed by a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Imam of the Muhammad Salleh Mosque and the Dikir Syarafil Anam.

Also present were YB Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Ahad, Legislative Council member; Awang Haji Ismail bin Haji Abd Manaf, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs; Awg Suhara Fadzali bin Haji Yusop, Acting Temburong District Officer, as well as senior officials from the ministry, Penghulus, village heads and members of the Mukim and Village Consultative Councils.
