Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with Ramadhan, the Ministry of Development held a Tedarus at Kg Lambak Mosque yesterday.

The guest of honour at the event was the Minister of Development, Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman.

Also present were the Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the Ministry of Development, Awg Hj Muhammad Lutfi bin Abdullah; Acting Permanent Secretary (Technical and Professional) at the ministry Awg Marzuke bin Hj Mohsin; Deputy Permanent Secretary Awg Eddie bin Dato Paduka Hj Sunny; and officers and staff from the ministry.

The mosque's takmir committee and regular congregants also participated.

The event began with a Surah al-Fatihah recital led by the minister.

Prior to the start, waqaf contributions in the form of an Acer projector and four electrical fans were presented by the minister to the Imam of Kg Lambak Mosque, Awg Hj Mohammad Ashraf bin Hj Bujang.

The tahlil was followed by the breaking of fast. The event concluded with the mass. Maghrib prayer.
