Bandar Seri Begawan - In preparations for Telekom Brunei Berhad's (TelBru) biggest customer event of the year, 'Let's Extreme', a mini 'Let's Extreme' event was conducted at The Mall, Gadong, from 10am until 3pm yesterday as a build up and awareness for the main event in December.
The mini 'Let's Extreme' had a total of25 teams which consisted of two person teams in which each team were given two types of questions and a picture match making where participants were given 15 lists of shops and building names as well as 10 sets of pictures which they had to match with the given list of names.
The challenges conducted during the mini 'Let's Extreme' were in collaboration with the official partners of 'Let's Extreme', Sin Hup Huat Co and Poni Divers.
Present as the guest of honour during the event was TelBru Chief Marketing Officer, Lim Ming Soon, who also presented prizes to the winners of the competition.
The team that won first prize was Edie Zuriaddy and Siti Fazriana who won second place last year in TelBru's 'Let's Trek' challenge and they each won themselves a 26" Urata Mountain Bike, a one-month Fitness Zone membership, $50 worth of Fratini's Restaurant voucher, $50 worth of Charcoal BBQ and Grill voucher and TelBru merchandise.
"It was unexpected that we've won the Mini Let's Extreme (today) because we were just trying to have fun participating in the games (today) and we were shocked to find out that we are the champions," stated the winners in an interview.
When asked if they are going to participate in the upcoming 'Let's Extreme' that will be held in December, they told the Bulletin that they will for sure be participating if there were no obstacles to stop them from joining the challenge this year.
They are also aiming to win first place in the next challenge.
The second prize winners, Danny Aimi and Omar Arif, each won $50 worth of Charcoal BBQ and Grill voucher and TelBru merchandise while the third prize winners won themselves $50 worth of Fratini's Restaurant voucher and TelBru merchandise.
Other teams who participated also won themselves TelBru merchandises as consolation prizes.
The main 'Let's Extreme' event held in December is an event where participants will solve clues and do extreme challenges in a two-person team, winning a chance to win an unforgettable historical holiday tour and win prizes worth up to $70,000.
Some of the criteria to join the event is that each team must consist of two members where at least one member has to be 18 years old, has a valid driving licence and must be able to swim.

'Let's Extreme' will be TelBru's 8th year of organising a let's' event where the objectives are to create awareness for TelBru products and locations of Telecom Business Centres as well as Kadai TelBru, to improve customer rapport, to have the biggest customer event of the year, act as a part of the customer appreciation programme and as part of team-building exercises within TelBru to uplift team spirit.
