Bandar Seri Begawan - A local man, 22 years old, who had unlawful carnal knowledge with his 13-year-old girlfriend was preferred three more charges of possession of obscene photos of a child. He pleaded guilty to all five charges yesterday.

DPP Pg Nina Jasmine PLKDRPg Hj Bahrin asked for time to prepare for the case before proceeding further.

Senior Magistrate Pg Masni Pg Hj Bahar fixed the case for further mention on January 5, 2013, when the statement of facts for the case will be furnished to the court.

The defendant on the first count had sex with the girl at the Lagoon Park, Pandan 7, Kuala Belait in April, 2012.

A second allegation suggests the defendant again had sex with the minor at her house in Kuala Belait on December 19, 2012 at about midnight.

The third, fourth and fifth charges as admitted by the defendant as well are possession of obscene photos of the girl. The case was reported to the police by the victim's mother.

Investigations were launched by the Women and Children Abuse Investigation Unit.
