Bandar Seri Begawan - A 47-year-old local man was released on a $1,000 bail or in default one local surety pending trial after he denied a charge of theft before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Zainudin bin Bohari allegedly stolen two mobile phones and $30 in cash from a car parked at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah between 12 noon and 2pm on February 1, 2013.

Acting Chief Magistrate, Muhammed Faisal PD Hj Kefli set February 27, 2013 to fix the trial dates.

DPP Dk Hazirah Pg Mohd Yusof prosecuted the case.
