Bandar Seri Begawan - A Filipino in his 30s was produced before the Bandar Magistrate's Court to face-a charge yesterday after being arrested for strolling around in the Menglait area naked during rush hour.

Jose Jr Abayon Sario was read a charge of causing an obscene act in a public place by indecently exposing himself to the annoyance of members of the public in the vicinity of Spg 5, Kg Menglait, Jalan Gadong at about 5.20pm on October 24, 2012.

Man charged with indecent exposure The defendant did not respond after being read the charge in Tagalog.

DPP Sharon Yeo applied before Senior Magistrate Pengiran Masni Pg Hj Bahar to have the defendant undergo psychiatric evaluation in remand at the Mental Health Unit in RIPAS Hospital.

The court granted 10 days time before the defendant would be brought back to court on November 3 for further mention of the case.
