Temburong - Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) organised the 2nd School Bag Donation Project for 12 primary schools in the Temburong District. A total of 278 students from underprivileged families received the school bags in a handover ceremony held at the main hall of Pai Yuek Chinese School in Bangar yesterday.

The Chairman of the School Board, Mr Lim Eng Ming gave the welcoming speech and praised LLCS's efforts in the local charity work especially in the education sector. He hoped that more people would benefit from the charity projects organised by LLCS.

LLCS extended their gratitude to the Pai Yuek Chinese School Board of Directors for lending the school's hall as the venue for the ceremony.

LLCS also expressed their gratitude to the principal and staff for the preparation and arrangement of the event.

In addition, LLCS thanked its members and the public for their kindness in sponsoring the project and hoped that the school bags would ease the financial burden of the respective students.
