Bandar Seri Begawan - One of the Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) charitable activities is to provide financial assistance to orphans who are in need of help. It is the aspiration of LLCS to render help to these students who are good school grade achievers but unable to continue their education due to financial hardships.

On Sept 12, 2012, LLCS handed a donation of $7,370.44 to Sandra Fong to cover part of her educational expenses in United Kingdom.

Sandra Fong, a bright and diligent student, is studying an engineering course (BEng degree) at Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB), and she has to complete her final year in United Kingdom because it is a twinning programme between ITB and Queen's University Belfast, UK.
