Bandar Seri Begawan - Lambak Kanan Jalan 49 Primary School held its first pre-school convocation ceremony yesterday, at the school's main hall. A total of 59 pupils successfully completed their pre-school classes this year. Also receiving certificates during the ceremony were 12 Year Six students who achieved best academic results in the PSR examinations this year.

Among the aims of the ceremony were to inspire students, parents and guardians to pursue goals in the field of learning; to appreciate and congratulate the pupils; and to foster greater cooperation between teachers and parents. The ceremony was also an opener to what would be an annual activity of Lambak Kanan Jalan 49 Primary School for the pre-school level.

Present as guest of honour at the event was Awg Mohammad bin Hj Tahir, Village Head of Kampong Lambak Kanan. The ceremony was also filled with numerous interesting performances from the preschoolers, and concluded with a group photo.
