Bandar Seri Begawan - The Embassy of the Republic of Korea announced that the republic's National Day reception will be held tomorrow at Indera Kayangan. Ballroom of The Empire Hotel and Country Club and will feature two special events to lighten up the celebration.

One of them will be an appreciation award to the Vice Chancellor of UBD, Dato Dr Hj Zulkarnain in recognition of his tireless efforts and endless contributions towards enhancing education cooperation and especially student exchange between Korea and Brunei.

The second will be the appointment of Mr Goh Kiat Chun, popularly known as Wu Chun, as the Goodwill Ambassador of Public Diplomacy for the Republic of Korea, appointed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea.

He is expected to play a role in increasing understanding between the people of Brunei and Republic of Korea as well as to contribute to the relations between the two countries.
