Jerudong - The Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque Committee, Jerudong and the Kg Jerudong Village Consultative Council (MPK) held a Korban ceremony where eight buffaloes and three cows were slaughtered.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Imam Haji Abd Aziz bin Haji Abdul Ghani.

Imam Haji Abd Aziz said that the ceremony was an annually held event by the mosque commitee to enliven the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration. He also added that the sacrificial meat would be distributed to the less fortunate within the area.

The sacrificial meat was presented by the guest of honour, Pehin Dato Juragan Laila Diraja Col (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Kith bin Orang Kaya Lela Setia Haji Razali.
