Bandar Seri Begawan - Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam recently hosted a Korban ceremony, or sacrificial rite, where the guest of honour was the Acting Minister of Culture, Youth & Sports, Datin Paduka Hajah Adina binti Haji Othman, who also presented the sacrificial meat to orphans, the less privileged, children with special needs, teachers and staff of Pusat Ehsan, and guests.

An annual religious endeavour by Pusat Ehsan to fete one of the major events in the Muslim calendar, 12 buffaloes were sacrificed for the ceremony. Eighty-four people took part in the sacrificing of the buffaloes.

Amongst the attendees were the Senior Trustee of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah AlHajjah Maryam, Dato Paduka Mohd Alimin Abdul Wahab, members of the Trustee of Pusat Ehsan, the Penghulu of Maim Kilanas, Kampong Bengkurong village head and the imam of Kampong Bengkurong Mosque.
