Bandar Seri Begawan - The Takmir and Muslimah Committee of the Perdana Wangsa Haji Muhammad Mosque in Kampong Setia yesterday organised a Korban and Aqiqah ceremony. The annual event was to mark Hari Raya Aidiladha.

The guest of honour was the Penghulu of Mukim Sungai Kebun, Pateh Dato Paduka Haji Masri bin Haji Ismail.

The ceremony began with the recitation of surah al-fatihah led by Md Azree bin Haji Ash. This was followed by mass Takbir recitation led by Haji Mazlan bin Maimon, Imam of Perdana Wangsa Haji Muhammad Mosque.

The guest of honour then presented the sacrificial meat to 52 needy people who reside in and around Kampong Setia. This year one buffalo and two cows were slaughtered during the ceremony.
