Bandar Seri Begawan - Koperasi Persatuan Kampong Lubok Pulau (KOPEKLAP) has conceptualised and secured the first intelligent petrol station with smart technology capabilities.

Tripleight Sdn Bhd has been appointed as a consultant and project manager for KOPEKLAP to build, operate and manage the project.

KOPEKLAP has invested significantly in green initiatives focusing on energy efficiency and green concepts such as harvesting rainwater, LED lighting solutions, remote monitoring solutions, innovative CCTV solutions, low carbon concrete for forecourt construction and obtaining green mark certification under the Shell Global Group.

The project is due for completion by March 20. It is anticipated that the station will be operational in the second quarter of 2013.
