Khatam Al-Quran And Tedarus For Sultan's 67th Birthday

Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's upcoming 67'' birthday, St Margaret's School started their Majlis Khatam Al-Quran and Bertedarus yesterday.

A total of 33 students from Year 10 attended this function.

The function began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah headed by Cikgu Norashiddiq bin Hj Muhd Hamdi followed by the reading of the first Juz read by Ustaz Sanip bin Sawal. This was then followed by the students and teachers.

The recitation of Al-Quran is held every Thursday and Saturday starting at 6.45am until 7.15am and will continue until end of June.

The event was attended by the Principal, Mr Koh Hong Puah; Head of Ugama Teachers, Hjh Samilah Hj Sukor and other Muslim staff of St Margaret's School.
