One of the aims of the walkathon is to promote the Wasai Batu Mapan Recreational Park as a travel destination for locals and tourists.

Tutong - The Kampong Padnunok Village Consultative Council (MPK Padnunok) held a family walkathon for its residents at the Wasai Batu Mapan Recreational Park in Kg Padnunok, Mukim Kiudang, Tutong yesterday.

Among the aims of the walkathon were to promote a healthy lifestyle among the residents of Kg Padnunok residents; to encourage them to participate in the village activities; and to promote the recreational park of Kg Padnunok as a travel destination for the locals and tourists.

Attending the event as guest of honour was the Acting Assistant Tutong District Officer, Awg Hj Haizul Rizal bin Hj Yahya.

The guest of honour and members of MPK Padnunok joined the participants for a warmup exercise before the start of the walkathon.

The event ended with a prize presentation for lucky draw winners in the child, teenager and adult categories.
