Bandar Seri Begawan - The Fire and Rescue Team, Operations Branch `D', Fire and Rescue Department, Ministry of Home Affairs distributed fire extinguishers to the Fire Volunteer Scheme of Kampong Menunggol, Mukim Kota Batu recently.

The fire extinguishers were presented by Awg Jafar bin Hj Jaya, Deputy Station Officer and ABKS 559 Rustam Efandi bin Hj Metusin; Public Relations Officer, Operations Branch ‘D', Fire and Rescue Department, Ministry of Home Affairs, Brunei Darussalam to Awg Yusup bin Muhammad, the Village Head of Kampong Menunggol.

A total of 15 volunteers from the Fire and Rescue Volunteers Scheme of Kg Menunggol were also present.

The Fire and Rescue Team hoped that the volunteers would be able to use the equipment to deal with the incident before the fire and rescue team arrive at the scene.
