Bandar Seri Begawan - The Foresty Department received two new housing flat blocks in Andulau, Sungai Liang allocated especially for the department's officers and staff.

The key hand-over ceremony was held yesterday with Pg Haji Mohidin bin Pg Mohd Daud, the Assistant Director of the Public Works Department (JKR) for the Belait and Tutong Districts, receiving a mock key from the contractor of Tekad Fajar. Sdn Bhd, Tan Yu Ung. Pg Haji Mohidin then proceeded to present the mock key to the Director of Forestry Hj Saidin bin Salleh.

The construction commenced on February 17, 2011, and completed ahead of schedule in June this year with the final contract amounting to B$1,454,134.08 to build. The project is included in the 9th National Development Plan (2007-2012) with Tekad Fajar Sdn Bhd appointed as the contractor.
