Bandar Seri Begawan - A physiotheraphy academic from Keele University will be visiting Brunei on December 10 and 11 to celebrate the continuing development of Brunei physiotherapy.

Mr Benjamin Ambrose, a senior lecturer at Keele, will be meetings with local policy makers and representatives of the physiotherapy professions in Brunei.

"(The year) 2012 has been very significant for Keele University, in that our most recent Bruneian physiotherapy students have returned home to contribute to the growing demand for rehabilitation services." said Ambrose.

"We are extremely popular with both Bruneian and International students looking to take the first step into what is an extremely rewarding career. I am really looking forward to observe our physiotherapy alumni in action_ I am also here to have discussions with Bruneian stake holders in physiotherapy to see how Keele could assist on advancing physiotherapy in Brunei."

Students considering furthering their studies in physiotherapy are invited to attend a presentation by Mr Ben Ambrose between 3pm to 5pm on Monday, December 10, at James Hon Marketing & Management, No 10, 1St Floor, Hj Abd Rahman Building, Kiulap, BSB. (Tel) 2230198 and (Fax) 2230199.

At Keele, physiotherapy students will undertake clinical placements from the outset in their first year, which is impressive." said Delon Hon, Keele Bruneian representative.
