Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Economic Planning and Development (JPKE) has released the Brunei Darussalam Statistical Yearbook 2011.

It presents the latest official statistics of Brunei Darussalam's general demographic, social and economic characteristics such. as area; population and vital statistics; labour force; national account statistics; prices, external trade; investment; banking and finance; mining; education; health; transport and communications; electricity; water and gas; agriculture; forestry and fisheries and miscellaneous.

The 39th yearbook edition also contains the latest data on the total population of the Sultanate from the population and housing census 2011. The midyear population released earlier for the years 2002 and 2012 have now been revised based on the final population and housing census 2011 data.
