Islamic Education Department Holds Workshop For Teachers

Serusop - Fifty-seven heads of religious teachers under the Islamic Education Department who teach Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK) in the Brunei-Muara District in primary and secondary classes at the government and private schools as well as technical and vocational schools attended a workshop.

The workshop was organised by the IRK Inspectorate Unit and Advanced Education and was held at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Mutawakillah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School in Serusop.

The workshop aims to instil knowledge and skills in implementing and assisting their tasks as teachers in order to be more effective. There was also a sharing session where ideas and views were exchanged and shared.

The facilitator of the workshop was Hasbi Mohd Suhaily, the Head of Inspectorate Section at the Islamic Education Department and assisted by committee members of the Inspectorate Division.
