Bandar Seri Begawan - A total of 25 participants from the Civil Service Institute (IPA) attended a short course on records and files management at the National Archives of Brunei Darussalam at Jalan Dewan Majlis yesterday.

On hand to facilitate the half-day course was Awg Zulhilmi bin Hj Matzain, an Archive Officer, who talked about the ways in which records and files are managed at the National Archives.

In addition to the course, the participants were also shown a video clip from an old film depicting the development of Kampong Ayer and Bandar Seri Begawan during the reign of Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam.

The participants also toured the record and file archive, as well as the exhibition, at the National Archives.
