Bandar Seri Begawan - HSBC Brunei officially launched 'My Home Plan' - an innovative concept tailored towards meeting customers' needs and providing the best solutions on home loans and home refinancing plans - in an event held at Tarindak d'Polo in Jerudong last night.
Touching on the essence of meeting the needs and priorities of the people, Lyndsay Rajah, the Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, HSBC Brunei said that the bank has designed a highly attractivescheme, especially for people aged 35 and below, to help them realise their dream earlier, while enjoying a host of benefits.
Potential applicants should bring along a copy of their identity card, their latest salary slips and updated account statements to get started during their meeting with the bank's home loan specialists.
With some holding concerns that include the uncertainty of who to approach and the inability to come up with funds for a down payment, potential home buyers can be at ease, as HSBC's home loan specialists will be able to assist them with a free home loan application process by providing them with endto-end professional services.
Potential home owners will enjoy huge savings on their lifetime investment as they will benefit from a low interest rate of 4.5 per cent per annum under the fixed repayment plan throughout the loan tenor, 50 per cent rebate on the total interests paid for the first three years, full fee waiver on application fees, a start-up subsidy of up to B$15,000 which may cover the costs of legal fees, MRTA and property valuation as well as a free three-year fire protection.
In addition to the promotion, customers eligible under the My Home Plan are also eligible for the benefits under the existing home loan campaign, which is currently running until December 29.
The first three customers who successfully sign up for the HSBC My Home Plan will also win' a brand new iPad.
The guest of honour at the event was the Head of Consumer Assets of HSBC Asia Pacific, Sanjiv Sud.
