Bandar Seri Begawan - Students who are in the process of finalising their application for overseas studies are invited to the Counselling and Application Day to be held at the Empire Hotel and Country Club's Conference Room on February 8 from 2pm to 7pm.
According to a press release, the Counselling and Application Day will allow the students to discuss their current and expected academic qualifications with the experienced counsellors fromidentify an appropriate HRD Services at course and university.
HRD Services have a vast portfolio of client universities in UK and Australia. With formal appointed representation of highly prestigious education institutions, they have a strong working relationship with the universities and colleges.
After the consultation HRD Services will contact the universities on behalf of the student to obtain an informal indication of whether the student is eligible.
"Students have a vast choice of courses and universities, and their main concern is whether they meet the entry criteria - if not, their application is wasted," said Dr Smita Wimmer from HRD Services. "We can approach the universities to obtain an informal advise on the student suitability for the course.
The student can thus narrow down their option of course and university and only apply to suitable institutions."
Students are advised to bring transcripts of their latest qualifications in order to assess the study options.
