Kuala Belait - Working on a public tip-off regarding illegal 4D activities, 11 Panaga CID officers raided a home in the Kg Lumut residential area on Wednesday, at 5pm.
In one of the bedrooms, officials found 22 betting slips, a fax machine and a calculator. However, no money was found.
The suspect is a 52-year-old Chinese man, who is a permanent resident. He was brought to the Royal Brunei Police Headquarters for further investigation and is currently released on police's bail.
He will be prosecuted under Section 4 (c), Chapter 28 Common Gaming House if proven guilty.
The Royal Brunei Police Force thanked the public for their cooperation in helping to combat gambling activities in Brunei.
