Bandar Seri Begawan - The Language and Literature Bureau's library yesterday held a handicraft activity at its Sengkurong Branch where over 30 children participated in the morning event.

Md Aiman Hirzan bin Md Heren from Category A (children between the ages of four and eight) and Nuramal Aqilah bte Md Jarali from Category B (children between the ages of nine and 11) received first prizes for creativity and presentation in creating an egg container made from a paper, tissue paper and a manila card.

Presenting the prizes to the top three winners were Hjh Siti Ramah bte PDLR Abu Bakar, the Head of the Mobile Library.

All the children's handicrafts are displayed inside the Children's Activity Room. The purpose of the activity was to inculcate creativity among the children and to foster an interest in visiting the library.
