Grab Great Deals & Amazing Prizes At DST Carnival

Jerudong - Fabulous prizes and promotions await members of the public who will visit the highly-anticipated DST Carnival on November 30 to December 2 at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre. A demonstration on the 4G network' will also be held.

The carnival, organised in conjunction with DST's 17th anniversary, carries the theme 'Sports and Lifestyle' this year and serves as a token of appreciation to loyal customers for their support throughout the years.

During the press conference at the DST Headquarters, Awang Matnarudin Ibrahim, General Manager of Kristal cum chairman of the event shared the exciting programmes and activities for the three-day event.

"There will be promotions and prizes of sorts for visitors to win at the carnival this year. Instant lucky dips for transaction rewards depending on the amount spent, launch of the D*Card, which is a cash card with DST loyalty points and free sign-up for the first 1,000 (B$20 waived).

"A 'Sign up, Swipe & Win' promotion with the chance to win prizes daily and promotions for Prima including Special Prima Contract Package with mobiles open to existing and new subscribers will also be held. A minimum Prima $55 and Prima Eco Deal comprises a Free $10 worth (2,500) of loyalty points on all Eco plan sign ups.

" The new Prima service namely the Prima Multi SIM, which uses one primary and up to four supplementary (single mobile number on multiple handsets/devices) is also available. For the Kristal Astro Fest, the promotion offers a Byond & PVR bundle contract and Byond & PVR upgrade bundle contract. Customers will get a chance to win a full HD LED TV," said Awang Matnarudin Ibrahim.

He also revealed that the carnival would also demonstrate 4G speeds at the DSTG Future booth that showcases the future of 4G in Brunei.

A variety of booths showcasing products, services and even motor vehicles will be set up at the event. The DST Carnival promises to be more challenging, fun and exciting. Other fun activities include a DST GetFit CrossFit Challenge', D'Chef Competition, Spelling Bee competition and a colouring contest. For the music lovers, the 'KFM Acoustic Sessions Live' will be showcasing local aspiring singers live on stage.

This year's carnival will also include the 'Grand Cash Bonanza' prizes announcement with total prize of $15,000 for Prima and $10,000 for Easi to be held on Saturday evening.

DST has also reintroduced the treasure hunt event, "DST Dare Challenge", a two-day 'treasure-hunt'-like adventure that will take place both inside and outside the Jerudong Park Playground. The grand prize is a new Hyundai i30, which will be presented to the best team during the finals on Sunday afternoon.

The most anticipated event is the lucky draw where prizes such as Mac Book, iPhone 5, Samsung handset, iPad and Astro Byond await to be won. A fireworks display will also be held at the venue on Saturday night at 10.30pm.

A special discount rate for visitors entering Jerudong Park Playground will be levied when they register at the DST Info desk. On Friday, November 30, the carnival will be open from 2.30pm till 10.30pm, on Saturday from 10am till 10.30pm and Sunday, from 10am till 6pm.

It is expected that 11,000 to 12,000 visitors will visit the three-day carnival.
