Bandar Seri Begawan - A group or association such as the Google Developer Group (GDG) Women Brunei can be a good platform where technocrats such as internet applications or in short 'apps' developers as well as non-technocrats bring ideas and technology together to come up with creative apps.
Datin Paduka Hajah Adina binti Othman, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said this during the GDG Women Brunei first meet-up, where she was the guest of honour.
The meeting was led by Hj Azaman Suleiman as the GDG Brunei Manager, where he briefed the members on the history of the GDG Brunei's formation. GDG Women Brunei talked about the events installed for the year 2013.
Datin Paduka Hajah Adina said she supports the formation of GDG Brunei and GDG Women Brunei.
Google Developer Groups (GDGs) are user groups for people who are interested in Google's developer technology; everything from the Android and app engine platforms, to product apps like the YouTube API and the Google Calendar API, to initiatives like OpenSocial. Hj Azaman said anyone with an interest on Google technology can be members of GDG.
