Bandar Seri Begawan - Getfit CrossFit, official fitness partner of the Standard Chartered Half-Marathon Brunei 2013 will be hosting a special fitness clinic for younger participants of the event aged between eight and 12 years of age.
According to a press release, this is the second of such special fitness clinics hosted by the event's fitness-partner - GetFit CrossFit. It will be held on Sunday, March 17 from 3pm to 4pm at The GetFit CrossFit Box, Lot 19990, Ground Floor, Taman Alam, Simpang 34, jalan Telanai, Kampong Beribi, Gadong. Jennifer Kang, Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing said: "All the children who attended the first fitness clinic session by GetFit CrossFit had a fantastic time. As such, we were encouraged to hold another one and through this, we hope to be able to inculcate a healthy lifestyle from a young age."
The run clinic will include a series of warm-up exercises and circuit trainings to build strength and endurance. At the same time, there will also be interesting and fun games incorporated such as CrossFit Musical Medicine Balls and Dragon Tails.
In conjunction with the Standard Chartered Half-Marathon Brunei 2013, there will also be a special clinic for all participants of the Great Eastern Women's 10km fitness clinic today at 3pm at the same venue.
