Four Foreigners Plead Guilty To Gambling Activities

Bandar Seri Begawan - Four foreign men were imposed a fine of $1,500 each or serve jail for a month in default after they pleaded guilty before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court yesterday to gambling in a public place.

All Malaysians, Ling Siew Tung aged 55, Chieng Khai Yew aged 45 and Chung Fuk Fo aged 43 with 27-year-old Indonesian Hariadi were found gambling using playing cards when the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit raided a hut in the vicinity of No 19, Spg 82, Kg Kilanas, Jln Ban 6 at about 11.31pm on September 24, 2011. The police were tipped-off.

Yesterday Senior Magistrate Pg Masni Pg Hj Bahar ordered a reward of $150 be given to the informer.

DPP Dk Didi Pg Latiff prosecuted the case.
