Bandar Seri Begawan - A brief firefighting course will be held from December 3 to 5 at the Fire and Rescue Department Headquarters for youths who are interested.

The course, organised by the BruneiMuara District branch of the Youth and Sports Department with the cooperation of the Public Relations Section of the Fire and Rescue Department, is open to youths aged from 17 to 25 years.

The aim of the course is to provide opportunity to youths in learning the ways of extinguishing fire and preventing fire from spreading. The course will also provide knowledge on preventive measures againstfire in houses and buildings.

To join the course, participants must be Bruneian citizens or permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam living in the Brunei-Muara District. Participants must also be in good physical condition.

With only 30 places available for the course, registration will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration forms can be obtained at the Brunei-Muara District branch of the Youth and Sports Department or the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. For further information, interested parties can contact 2383426/8644691.
